HBS relief reducing valves
Pressure reducing valves are used in hydraulic systems to supply a secondary circuit with a lower operating pressure than the main system pressure controlled by the primary relief valve.
Function of pressure reducing valves
These valves are applied when specific functions or actuators within a hydraulic circuit must operate at a reduced pressure level, such as in systems with multiple cylinders requiring different pressure settings.
Pressure reducing valves are normally open. When the pressure in the secondary branch exceeds the value set by the adjusting spring, a cylindrical spool restricts the flow between the main and secondary branch. This controlled restriction limits the outlet pressure and maintains it at the required level.
