HBS flow dividers
Flow dividers / combiners are used in hydraulic systems to split the oil flow from one supply line into two equal or proportional outlet flows. They enable synchronous movement of multiple actuators without mechanical linkage and ensure stable operation under varying load conditions.
Function of flow dividers / combiners
Flow dividers distribute the incoming flow according to a fixed ratio defined by the internal orifice diameters of the valve. The flow split is therefore not adjustable.
These valves are typically used when:
Two actuators of equal dimensions must move simultaneously
Both actuators are supplied by the same pump and controlled by one directional valve
Synchronous extension is required without load influence between actuators, such as in load platforms or scaffolding systems
By maintaining balanced flow distribution, flow dividers ensure predictable and synchronised actuator movement in mobile and industrial hydraulic applications.
